Warranty terms and conditions
Units repaired in Hidromotas LT workshop are provided with a warranty:
- Passenger car steering columns - 24 months,
if steering column is dismantled and installed at Hidromotas LT workshop;
12 months in all other cases.
- Truck and bus steering columns - 6 months.
- Hydraulic cylinders - 6 months.
- Brake callipers - 6 months.
The steering column repair warranty does not apply if:
1. Mechanical damage of steering column rubber gaiters is observed.
2. Any mechanical damage of steering column and / or its parts is observed.
3. Breaches relating to third-party repair work are observed:
- steering column rubber gaiters are missing;
- steering column rubber gaiters are deformed during wheel adjustment;
- steering column rubber gaiters' straps are loose.
4. Steering column damage due to the contaminated hydraulic system is observed,
when steering column dismantling and installation was not carried out at Hidromotas LT workshop.
5. Hydraulic system is contaminated with improper liquids.
Rules for the Purchase of Products
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
These purchase and sale rules (hereinafter referred to as Rules) establish the mutual rights, obligations and responsibilities of the person acquiring the products in www.hidromotas.lt e-shop (hereinafter referred to as Buyer), and UAB Hidromotas LT (hereinafter referred to as Seller), when the Buyer is purchasing products in the e-shop. The Buyer agrees with the application of these Rules when purchasing products in the e-shop.
2. MOMENT OF CONCLUSION OF THE PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT
2.1. The purchase and sale agreement between the Buyer and the Seller is considered to be concluded when the Buyer clicks on the "Confirm the order" button after forming a shopping cart and pays the specified amount to the Seller, indicating a delivery address, selecting the payment method and familiarizing with these Rules, and will be valid until the fulfilment of all the obligations under this agreement. In cases when the Buyer disagrees with all or certain parts of the Rules, he must refrain from placing an order.
2.2. Each agreement concluded between the Buyer and the Seller is stored in www.hidromotas.lt database.
3. RIGHTS OF THE BUYER
3.1. The Buyer shall have the right to purchase products in the e-shop by following these Rules and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
3.2. The (Buyer) shall have the right to, without indicating a reason, withdraw from the product purchase and sale agreement concluded with the Seller in the e-shop (excluding agreements on products that were manufactured according to the individual order of the Buyer and are clearly customized according to his needs or that, based on their nature after they are provided to the Buyer, cannot be returned due to loss of product characteristics) by informing the Seller in writing within 30 calendar days after the product delivery date.
3.3. The Buyer shall have other rights provided in these Rules and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
4. OBLIGATIONS OF THE BUYER
4.1. The Buyer must pay for the products and their delivery, as well as provide other payments (if this is indicated during the conclusion of the agreement) and accept the ordered products. The Buyer shall pay for the products via internet banking, by following the bank link provided in the e-shop (if the Seller has concluded an appropriate contract with the Buyer's bank), transferring payment from any other bank to the Seller's bank account indicated in the Contacts section or paying for the product upon delivery.
4.2. If there are any changes in the data provided in the Buyer's registration form, the Buyer must immediately update it.
4.3. The Buyer must confirm his payment transfer via internet banking, to which a link is provided in the e-shop (if the Seller has concluded an appropriate contract with the Buyer's bank) or transfer payment from any other bank and send a notification to the Seller via a separate e-mail about a successful payment transfer no later than within 24 hours after clicking on the "Order" button. If failing to confirm the payment transfer within this term or failing to send a notification to the Seller via a separate e-mail about a successful payment transfer, the Seller shall have the right to assume that the Buyer has withdrawn from the purchase and sale agreement. Products selected by the Buyer are reserved and the Seller undertakes to execute the purchase and sale agreement only when the Seller receives a notification from the Buyer's bank or the Buyer about a successful transfer of payment for the selected products.
4.4. The Buyer must follow other requirements established by these Rules and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
5. RIGHTS OF THE SELLER
5.1. If the Buyer tries to impair the work and stable operation of the e-shop, the Seller can, without any prior notification, restrict or suspend the Buyer's access to the e-shop and shall not be liable for any losses of the Buyer resulting from this.
5.2. The Seller shall have the right to unilaterally change these Rules by publishing them on the website of the e-shop. Changes shall become valid from the moment they are published and applied for all transactions concluded after the publication.
5.3. The Seller shall have the right to apply an administrative cost fee of 3 euros if the price of products in the Buyer's shopping cart is less than 20 euros.
5.4. The Seller shall have other rights provided in these Rules and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
6. OBLIGATIONS OF THE SELLER
6.1. The Seller shall undertake to put efforts in providing the Buyer with the necessary conditions to use the services provided by the e-shop. The Seller shall not provide any guarantees that the operation of the e-shop will not be interrupted.
6.2. The Seller shall undertake to follow other requirements established in these Rules.
7. PRODUCT DELIVERY AND RETURN
7.1. Products shall be delivered by a transportation company at the expense of the Buyer. In separate cases indicated by the Seller, products shall be delivered at the expense of the Seller.
7.2. The exact cost of delivery depends on the weight and/or price of the ordered products.
7.3. Products are usually delivered to the address indicated by the Buyer within 1-6 working days from receipt of payment for products and product transportation, if products are available in the Seller's warehouses. The Seller shall not guarantee that, in all cases, products will be delivered within the time period indicated in the latter sentence, especially if the products are not available in the Seller's warehouses. Products are delivered throughout the territory of the Republic of Lithuania, including the Curonian Spit (additional costs are applied).
7.4. The exact date and time of product delivery is indicated in a notification sent to the Buyer via email to the e-mail address provided by the Buyer in his registration form. Accordingly, after concluding the purchase and sale agreement, the Buyer shall undertake to check his e-mail inbox on a daily basis until a notification is received regarding product delivery.
7.5. During shipment delivery, the Buyer or, depending on the case, the Buyer's representative must check the condition of the shipment's packaging, product quantity, quality and assortment together with the representative of the transportation company.
7.5.1. The Buyer or, depending on the case, the Buyer's representative must refuse to accept the shipment if there are any damages in the packaging of the shipment, or discrepancies in the product quantity, quality and assortment. In such a case, representative of the transportation company together with the Buyer or, depending on the case, the Buyer's representative shall fill out a special parcel inspection report which must indicate the discovered violations.
7.5.2. When the Buyer or, depending on the case, the Buyer's representative accepts the shipment and signs the electronic data storage device or a paper delivery confirmation form provided by the representative of the transportation company without adding any notes, it shall be considered that the products were delivered in an undamaged packaging, the product quantity, quality and assortment meet the conditions of the purchase and sale agreement, and additional services indicated in the electronic data storage device or a paper delivery confirmation form shall be considered as carried out properly, if not indicated otherwise.
7.6. After products are delivered to the address indicated by the Buyer, it shall be considered that products were transferred to the Buyer, regardless of whether Products were actually accepted by the Buyer or any other person who accepted the products at the indicated address. If products are not delivered on the planned product delivery date, the Buyer shall immediately, but not later than on the next day after the planned product delivery date, inform the Seller.
7.7. If products will be accepted by a person other than the Buyer, the Buyer must provide information about the person receiving the products by filling out the order delivery information form.
7.8. The Buyer has the right to return the goods to The Seller in 30 days after the purchase was made.
7.9. The goods returned by The Buyer must not be used, in any other case the goods will not be accepted by The Seller.
7.10. All return expenses are covered by The Buyer.
7.11. The Seller agrees to transfer funds for the returned goods to The Buyer's provided bank account in 5 working days.
8.1. The Buyer shall be liable for the correctness of the data provided in the registration form. The Buyer shall assume liability for the consequences caused by the incorrectness or inaccuracy of data provided in the registration form.
8.2. The parties shall be liable for the violation of the purchase and sale agreement, concluded when using the e-shop, according to the procedures established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
8.3. According to the provisions of p. 3 of Art. 8 of the Law on Electronic Signature of the Republic of Lithuania, the Buyer and the Seller shall agree that confirmation of the Buyer's actions in the e-shop using the e-shop login information (authentication code) shall have the legal effect of an electronic signature established by p. 1 of Art. 8 of the Law on Electronic Signature (i.e. shall have the same legal effect as signatures in paper documents and shall be admissible as evidence in court). The Buyer must protect his e-shop login information and not disclose it, as well as make sure that this information is known only to the Buyer and the information is used only by the Buyer, and refrain from transferring or otherwise making it possible for other persons to access this information and use it. If there is suspicion that the login information became known to another person, the Buyer must immediately inform the Seller, as well as immediately inform the Seller about the violation or disclosure of the e-shop login information. All actions carried out using the Buyer's authentication code shall be considered as carried out by the Buyer, and the Buyer shall assume all liability for the consequences of such actions.
8.4. The Seller shall not be liable for information provided on the websites of other companies, even if the Buyer accesses these websites through the links provided in the Seller's e-shop.
8.5. The Seller shall not be liable for the fact that the colour, form and other parameters of the actual product do not match the colour, form and other parameters of the product displayed in the e-shop due to features of the computer monitor used by the Buyer.
9. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
9.1. By clicking on the "Order" button, the Buyer confirms that he and his representatives (Buyer has the consents of his representatives) agree to provide the Seller with personal data indicated in these Rules and the registration form, and does not object that personal data provided by the Buyer and (or) his representatives would be processed by the Seller for the purpose of online trading.
9.2. By clicking on the "Order" button, the Buyer confirms that he and his representatives (Buyer has the consents of his representatives) agree that personal data of the Buyer and (or) his representatives provided by the Buyer and (or) his representatives would be submitted to third parties chosen by the Seller in order for the data to be processed fur the purpose of internet trading, as discussed in the next paragraph.
9.3. By clicking on the "Order" button, the Buyer confirms that he and his representatives (Buyer has the consents of his representatives) agree to, when collecting the products at the product collection location, provide the Seller and (or) third party who delivered the products upon the Seller's order one of the following personal identification documents: passport, personal identity card or new version of the driver’s license in order to properly identify the Buyer and (or) his representatives for the purpose of internet trading. The Buyer also confirms that he and his representatives (Buyer has the consents of his representatives) agree that, during the collection of products at the product collection location, the Seller and (or) third party who delivered the products upon the Seller's order would write down the information from the personal identification document provided by the Buyer and (or) his representative in order for the data to be processed (including, but not limited to, data transfer to the Seller) for the purpose of internet trading.
9.4. By clicking on the "Order" button, the Buyer confirms that he (if the Buyer is a natural person) and his representatives are informed about their right to familiarize with their personal data processed by the Seller and how their data is processed, as well as demand for their personal data to be corrected, erased or their personal data processing actions suspended, when data is processed without complying with the statutory provisions, and object to the processing of their personal data for any given purpose.
9.5. By clicking on the "Order" button, the Buyer confirms that he and his representatives know that they have the right to refuse to provide their personal data, but understand that personal data is necessary and required for the clear identification of the Buyer and (or) his representatives for the purpose of internet trading, and that they will not be able to conclude and (or) execute the agreement upon refusal to provide personal data and (or) upon refusal to allow the data to be processed for the purpose of internet trading.
10. SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION
10.1. The Seller shall submit all messages to the e-mail address provided in the Buyer's registration form.
10.2. The Buyer shall submit all messages and questions to the address indicated in the "Contacts" section of the Seller's e-shop.
11. FINAL PROVISIONS
11.1. These Rules shall not restrict the rights of the Buyer (driver) established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, including the rights in the event the acquired products or services are of inadequate quality.
11.2. All disputes arising from or related to the purchase and sale agreement signed between the Buyer and the Seller shall be settled by negotiation. If failing to reach an agreement, disputes shall be settled according to the procedures established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
